Terms and Conditions
By registering to become a member of the Bakanda program, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Bakanda Limited reserves the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions, in whole or in part, at any time or without prior notice.
Members
- Members or applicants must be an individual, aged 18 or over and based in the UK . If users are found to be using scripts and / or automated services to access the Bakanda site, the user's account will be immediately deleted and all rebates will be forfeit.
- Bakanda Limited reserves the right to decline or cancel any membership without notice.
The Bakanda Program
- The Bakanda program is accessed only via the website www.bakanda.com. Bakanda Limited is not responsible for the user's ability to access this site and it's contents and / or referring URLs.
- The Bakanda program allows you to accrue a percentage of net purchases on Bakanda program merchants' web sites, where net purchases often, but not always, exclude the cost of tax, shipping, gift wrapping, promotions and any returns or credits and are determined by each respective merchant's affiliate program agreements with Bakanda Limited.
- The Bakanda program allows you to receive an incentive for visiting web sites owned by Bakanda merchants or for registering for services provided by Bakanda merchants or for purchasing products provided by Bakanda merchants.
- To qualify for the rebates that are promoted on the Bakanda program, the member must:
i. enable 'Cookies' on the web browser with which they access the Bakanda program
ii. begin their purchase process by clicking on the link which relates to their potential purchase and / or registration supplied on the Bakanda web site
iii. never alter any links or destination URLs provided on the Bakanda web site as these links allow the Bakanda program to track the member through to the point of purchase.
iv. begin and complete the full purchase and / or registration in one shopping session within the Bakanda program. If the purchase process is broken, the Bakanda program will not be able to track the final purchase amount and the member will, therefore, be ineligible for a rebate.
v. complete the purchase online. Purchases via telephone and / or fax are not tracked by the Bakanda program and therefore not eligible for a rebate.

The member's account will be updated with the post-purchase rebate once Bakanda Limited is informed of your final purchase amount. Bakanda Limited reserves the right to reverse or alter this account credit if subsequent information deems it necessary i.e. the member returns purchased goods or is declined from an applied-for registration process.

It is the member's responsibility to check all updates to their account online. If there are incongruous entries in the member's account, the member must wait 30 days from time of purchase and re-check the member account. If the account is showing what the member believes to be incorrect data, then the member must contact Bakanda Limited via member.services@bakanda.com within 60 days of the purchase so further enquiries to the merchant can be made, on the member's behalf. All account enquiries, must be made via email to the address above.

If at any time, the member disagrees with any of Bakanda Limited's decisions, account entries / adjustments and / or program content, the member's recourse is simply one of self-cancellation of membership to the Bakanda program. Bakanda Limited also reserves the right to terminate the account of any member who is abusive, hostile and / or has shown to be fraudulent. Upon such a decision, the user's account will be immediately deleted and all rebates will be forfeit. A member's account will also be terminated if the member is no longer reachable via the email address that they have provided.

Bakanda Limited shall not be held responsible for any changes to, or cancellation of, any merchant's promotional offering, any merchant program, or for any rebate or accrual that is altered by such changes or cancellations. It is the member's responsibility to ensure that the promotions and rebates offered by Bakanda Limited and the Bakanda program are valid and up to date. If the member takes advantage of promotions that are advertised on the merchant's site but are not part of the promotion offered to you by the Bakanda program, then the member may lose the right to the rebate and / or promotion offered by the Bakanda program. Many merchants run numerous promotional offers at the same time. The Bakanda program can only provide rebates on promotions offered on the Bakanda web site.

Bakanda Limited will not be held responsible for any incorrect reporting from the merchants of the Bakanda program.
Payments
- Payments are made quarterly, 60 days in arrears, on condition that your account is in excess of £25.
- In the situation of a member account balances being under £25, the amount will be carried over to the following quarter's payment.
- In a situation where merchants have delayed payment or ceased trading, Bakanda Limited will make every effort to recover the member's payment. However, this is by no means a guarantee of payment.
- If, for a period of 12 months or more, your account shows no transactions it will be closed and all rebates will be forfeit.
Newsletters and other forms of communication
- As part of the Bakanda program, the member
agrees to receive weekly newsletters that
will provide the member with offer updates
and new merchant information. Your email address
must be valid in order for you to receive
this weekly newsletter.
Legal
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed
by the laws of England, and the registered
member agrees to submit to the non-exclusive
jurisdiction of the English courts
